| Manufactured by Shiro, in Spain, the MATRIX trials helmet is made of high tech thermoplastic ABS resins with HIGH shock-absorbant charecteristics, a protective hard UV coating, and a removable washable lining made from non-allergic materials. The advanced ventilation system consists of 12 vent holes in the shell, each protected by a hard aluminum grill. The aerodynamic design features C.S.A.E. (Continuous System of Air Extraction) which creates an airflow across, and through, the helmet using 4 of the side, and 2 of the top, vents to extract heat from the helmet. The short visor peak is replaceable, using nylon screws, and features vent holes to prevent air pressure pushing up under the visor. Helmet weight is 1100 grams. |
