Fuel tech tip for Scorpa owners
Notice: Anyone owning a 2001-2008 SY250 Scorpa should be careful what type of fuel they use. Many fuel companies are selling fuel with 10% Ethanol. This fuel additive or substitute does not get along good with the plastic/nylon gas tank used on SY models and slowly etches away at the inside of the tank. The process takes a few weeks before becoming obvious with the first indication being a low speed pilot jet plugged with a white gummy substance.
